Denison-Columbus Alliance

What is the Denison-Columbus Alliance?

  • Provides recipients with total grant aid of at least the full cost of tuition for four years
  • Awarded to up to 20 IKIC seniors (from any of our four districts: Columbus City, Reynoldsburg, South-Western, and Whitehall)
  • Recipients are selected based on academic record, extracurricular achievements, essays and recommendation letters

Additional benefits of the program include:

  • Pre-collegiate program taking place from May – August
  • On-campus mentorship from a Denison family
  • Peer-Mentoring program

Eligibility Requirements

  • Graduating senior from Columbus City, Reynoldsburg, South-Western, or Whitehall City Schools
  • 3.0 GPA or higher OR ranked in the top 10% of your class
  • Must demonstrate leadership in your school or community

To apply, students must:

  1. Complete the DCA interest form
  2. Apply through Early Decision via the Common Application, complete the CSS Profile, and visit campus/interview by your chosen decision plan:Early Decision: November 15Early Decision 2: January 15
