Denison-Columbus Alliance Scholarship

Full tuition for up to Four Years at Denison University.

Denison University, in partnership with Columbus City Schools and I Know I Can, offers the Denison-Columbus Alliance (DCA) Scholarship to support students from Columbus City Schools, Reynoldsburg City Schools, South-Western City Schools, and Whitehall City Schools.. Through this program, up to 20 high school seniors each year receive grant aid covering at least full tuition for four years, helping to eliminate financial barriers to higher education.

The application period for the 24′-25′ school year is now closed and will reopen in Fall 2025 for Class of 26′ seniors.

What You Need to Know

  • The Denison-Columbus Alliance Scholarship provides total financial aid of at least full tuition for up to four years at Denison University.
  • The scholarship is awarded to up to 20 IKIC seniors from any of our four districts: Columbus, Reynoldsburg, South-Western, and Whitehall City Schools
  • Recipients are selected based on academic record, extracurricular achievements, essays and recommendation letters.
Additional benefits of the program include:
  • Pre-collegiate program taking place from May – August
  • On-campus mentorship from a Denison family
  • Peer-Mentoring program

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be graduating seniors from a high school within Columbus City Schools, Reynoldsburg City Schools, South-Western City Schools, or Whitehall City Schools.

Applicants must complete the FAFSA – the deadline to complete will be communicated here once available.

Applicants must apply through binding Early Decision via the Common Application.

Early Decision 1: November 15
Early Decision 2: January 15
